Hi, my name is Diane Osborne

I have been in the desktop publishing/graphic design business now for over 35 years and have been designing websites for over five years.

I can help your business by designing, at very competitive rates:
• All your office stationery: business cards, letterheads, invoice/statements, etc
• Brochures and flyers
• Websites
• e-mail marketing programmes
Also, I can design, format, typeset and perform all prepress functions for Books and Magazines.

I believe that, in the current economic climate, one-person and smaller businesses need to promote themselves via good business marketing, i.e., business cards and a website — but at a price they can afford.

I would love to discuss your requirements with you. Contact me

Well, where to start? . . .
. . . from the beginning is probably best!

When I left school, many years ago, I worked for the Greenwich Maritime Museum (in England) doing the exhibit signs using an IBM golfball typewriter, letraset and border tape! Moving to New Zealand, at the tender age of 18, I worked for several graphic design companies where technology had progressed to Compugraphic machines where all that could be seen of what you were typing was twenty or so characters, and the 'text' was on photosensitive paper which had to go through a 'developer' much as you would do for photos.

Technology improved and Macs and PCs became more evident in the workplace and my skills which were always advanced - I like to push machines to the limit of their abilities! - went on a different tangent to take in the Macromedia and Adobe software.

I ran my own business for ten years doing graphic design for small and large businesses alike and also on contract to several printers until five years ago when personal circumstances meant another change in direction. A few years later I contracted to Mahurangi and Northern Matters (two local newspapers) doing all the graphic design and layout plus taking on the role of webmaster.

Now, I'm working for myself again, thoroughly enjoying it and looking forward to being of assistance to you - because, after all, if you're still reading this you must be in the market for graphic or web design!
